Fresh install, no previous usage. On Ubuntu 23.04.
I run every step in the official quickstart guide.

And then nothing. It doesn't hang, just quits. If I move along and create and run a new agent as the quickstart suggests, I get:

in succession. So clearly, the setup didn't run correctly.
There may be a configuration or install thing that I missed, but as a new user following the quickstart and using a supported os, such a thing ought to be in the guide. This is either a bug in the code or in the docs.
