Allow for community moderated, defined and served categories that exist independently of the main SponsorBlock instance and ruleset
this would allow for categories that explicitly conflict with the guidelines and goals of the project and/or are extremely niche in that only a few users would use this category.
As discussed extensively in the discord and brought to github by #2015.
This would entail connection to other filterlists ran by other third-party users and/or groups that act completely independently of SponsorBlock. They can have their own rules and moderation teams that do not interact with the main extension and database at all. Users would connect to these own service at their own risk and choice and these moderators have full control over their own platform, with only discovery being facilitated by the main SponsorBlock team
This allows for custom categories including:
strobing/ flashing lights
removing individuals from otherwise neutral content (controversies)
community-defined fact-checking
mouth sounds/ slurping
any phobias
