Right now if there is some issue with docker the dagger CLI will continue to try to connect indefinitely. We had a very patient person who waited 56 minutes before giving up. :)
Ideally we either check to make sure docker is going to work, or time out if we are stuck connecting for more than say 5 minutes.
Why is this important to you?
Especially for people new to Dagger this can be a very bad first impression and a very poor DX.
How are you currently working around this?
There is no real workaround, you have to know to check for docker issues and that is not always obvious to newcomers.
